About the upcoming artists:

MISKATE (Foundsound/Philadelphia)
Don't miss Foundsound's leading lady Miskate making her first San
Francisco appearance with new material never performed in the US.

About this show:

On Saturday, Feb. 10, we're bringing in one of our all time favorites,
Miskate (real name Kate Iwanowicz), who co-founded Foundsound Records
with partner Someone Else (Sean O'Neil).

Together, they have firmly established Foundsound as one of the most
captivating minimal techno labels out of the U.S., delivering release
from such notables as Barem, Agnes, and Butane, as well as their own
collaborative works such as the unforgettable conceptual techno debut
EP "Rip it Cookie Muenster."

Fresh from shaking up clubs in Europe, Miskate has infused the genre
of minimal techno with playful, psychotropic elements that integrate
quirky found sound sources and looped-up field recordings with deep
tech-house beats that are sure to pack the dance floor.

Free before 11pm / 10 dollars after 21+

BUTANE (Alphahouse/Berlin)
Catch Butane in his first West Coast appearance on Saturday, Feb. 24!

About this show:

On Feb, Sat. 24 we're packing the house with Andrew Rasse, (aka
Butane) with a not-to-be-missed DJ set of raw, deep, minimal,
futuristic, dancefloor screaming techno.

Recently featured on Matthew Dear's Fabric compilation as well as
Luciano's HiFi SciFi, Andrew Rasse (aka Butane) is known as an
after-hours DJ extraordinaire whose skills and imagination have turned
heads all over Europe.

Andrew's label, Alphahouse, is commonly regarded as one of the premier
minimal techno labels in the United States, churning out deep and
narcotic killers like "On the Ket," and the epic "Burger Boy" EP.

"This St. Louis minimal superstar is killing sound systems worldwide
with his patented approach towards click-styled emo-techno. Leave your
pink collared shirts at home, as this deep meaty chunk of dark
hypnotic late night techno leaves no holds barred. Somewhat
reminiscent of the Minus sound, Butane surely presents his own
haunting methodology here." (BPM MAG)
