[cf-announce] Anyone Interested In Maker Faire 2007?

Hello All,

I started working for Make Magazine this year and are in charge of  
producing Maker Faire in May. If you're not familiar with Make please  
check out makezine.com or craftzine.com for our sister mag Craft.

On February 24th we're hosting auditions for artists, crafters,  
makers, engineers, scientists, DIY experimenters at the TechShop in  
Menlo Park. We're looking for people to come out and present their  
projects, demo their crafts, talk about their art, produce a  
theatrical performance etc. Anything goes! Needless to say that this  
community is bubbling over with creative energy and think that  
relationships with Make and Craft magazine for Maker Faire would be a  
great opportunity for makers to showcase their talent.
We recently sent out the Call for Makers which describes the various  
options to exhibit, demo, perform at Maker Faire. You can find more  
info and submit a proposal at makerfaire.com
