i'm unsure about how people feel in general about "one more list to 
read" but i sometimes feel a lot of people are missing out. i have a 
couple of announce lists you might be interested in reading. usually 
they are mostly about techno related events in the bay as well as mixes 
and sometimes commentary.. which is what def-announce is mostly about. 
the other list is an announce list for our internet radio program, 
'radio integrated' which airs live usually every friday. the radio 
integrated programming features guests from all over the west coast. if 
you subscribe to def announce you would get information on the radio 
programming as well.. so it is advised that if you are solely interested 
in hearing about the internet broadcasts, then the radio integrated list 
is for you. `;)

usually the integrated broadcasts are all good fun with an open house, 
byob and potluck food policy in a loft type atmosphere. we keep the 
volume down to decent level, everyone gets smashed and it's pretty 
social affair with good times generally had by all.

i would invite anyone who shares an interest in techno to at least check 
it out for a month, and if you are not jiving on it, just unsub.
